IEF members publish paper on moral leadership

IEF members Onno Vinkhuyzen and Sylvia Karlsson-Vinkhuyzen have had their paper "The role of moral leadership for sustainable production and consumption" accepted for publication by the Journal of Cleaner Production (2013) http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jclepro.2013.06.045.

The paper looks at the relationship between leadership and societal change, particularly in the context of the complex and integrated transformation required to achieve sustainability in consumption and production. It demonstrates the importance of an ethical or moral foundation for leadership by comparing leadership models and showing the advantages of the Baha'i-inspired moral leadership framework developed by Eloy Anello and others at Nur University in Bolivia for promoting common goods such as sustainability, with initial examples of its practical implementation.
